Swimming, snorkeling and stand-up paddle boarding
Enough free time for yourself to relax, read, write in your journal, connect with each other and sunbathe either on the catamaran or on a beach
Your commitment to the sailor lifestyle
Life on board is simple, easy and so enjoyable. It allows us to surrender and connect to nature and invites us to leave our egos and "normal life stresses" at home. In our experience it takes about one day of adaptation and after this we are all having too much fun.
Pachamama rules
Please be aware that mother nature will be guiding this trip depending on weather, wind and waves. We adapt our itinerary accordingly to make sure everybody has a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Power of connection
We will be 9 people on our catamaran (6 guests and 3 crew). It will be so energizing and rewarding to be sharing this experience with a bunch of like-minded women. Being in a group of course also requires patience, kindness, compromise and the willingness to open up and be a part of this group for one week.
Sleeping cozily
Our simple cabins each have a double bed that you will share with a co-sailor and maybe even a potential new friend. If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs and a sleeping mask. Let us know if you wish to share your cabin with a specific person.
Personal space
Our boat is a catamaran and therefore has a lot more deck surface than a monohull sailing yacht. Still you won’t have that much personal space. While we are sailing you are not able to just take a walk. But we will go on land a minimum of 1x a day and we will make sure you have enough me-time.
Less time on your smartphone
Singing and sharing circles are sacred moments and therefore cellphone-free. There won’t be WiFi on board (only for emergencies). If you really need your fix there will be WiFi in restaurants on land. Let’s use this wonderful opportunity to disconnect from our phones and connect with each other.

What our guests say
FAQ & Infos
-
You don’t need any! Being curious, having an open mind and the willingness to learn will be all you need.
Having an average fitness and being comfortable in the water is all you need.
For the sailing part we have an experienced skipper who is used to sailing with beginners. He will teach some basic sailing skills. You are invited to help him out on board.
-
Mia´s sound experiences and singing circles are not a competition or “America’s Got Talent” shows. Every woman has an inner voice and an inner frequency that can be liberated through sound. It is not about how you sound and more of a chance to explore another way of connecting to yourself and deeply listening to what you have to say.
For many women it is very empowering as they have never really sang out into the world or explored the sounds that they can make.
Joining one of Mia’s events beforehand will lead you to a better understanding and a greater connection with Mia. All events are published on her Instagram @_mia_mayah. Or drop us a mail to ask for details.
-
The songs are mantra/chanting style in the sense where we repeat many words making it really easy to join and opening the possibility to go deeper. There is no pressure, no judgement just simply beautiful melodies to sing along to.
For hundreds of years chanting in circles has been a practice in almost all cultures. Bringing people closer and always connecting back to the earth.
-
The board language will be a mix of languages, depending on the participants. Just use whatever language feels good for you.
Mia holds her Sound & Connection Ceremonies in English since that is her mother language. She also speaks Swiss German, German, French and Italian.
Katrin speaks Swiss German, German, English and French.
Our Captain Nootch speaks French and English.
We keep our website and official information in English. We are open to guests from all over the world to join our trips.

There are multiple airlines that fly direct or one stop flights to Kos Airport. For example Edelweiss Airlines offer direct flights from Zurich to Kos in September.
From the airport you can take a 30-45 min. taxi to Kos main harbour. Or a 5 Euro local bus that takes 1,5h.
Check-in on the boat at Kos Marina is at 5pm on the first Saturday. Check-out is at 9am on the Saturday after.
The flight and transfer to the harbour are not included in the price and must be booked individually.
-
End of September the temperature in the Dodecanese islands is between 22-25 °C. Perfect sailing weather and the sea is still refreshing.
The wind during September is usually slightly less strong than in July or August offering more favorable conditions than in the summer months, meaning that there are also less waves.
Please be aware that mother nature will be guiding our trip depending on weather, wind, waves. If there is wind we sail. If not our boat has a motor to support. We adapt our itinerary accordingly to make sure everybody has a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
-
